Thought I'd start things going here by asking people what they think the best Horror-themed board games are.
Two of my Favourites include:
Zombies (Twilight Creations)
and
Betrayal at House on the Hill (Avalon Hill).
Both have a nice random element, great atmosphere and aren't too difficult to play. Zombies especially has a great 'pick up and play' factor.

Both of those are pretty ace, especially Zombies!!! I would also reccommend When Darkness Comes, from the same company, and Arkham Horror. Several of the wonderful Cheapass Games also have horror elements but used for comedic effect ;D
Oh, let's not forget The Hills Rise Wild!

Arkham Looks the business and has some nice elements, but it's never really scaled the heights for me, mainly because when I've played it in the past there seems to be elements of breakage.
Should also add to the list Maul of America, which I'm sure is still available and the genius which was Slasher, which sadly is available no-more.

anything connected with Cthullu really, I've heard that Arkham Horror can take ages to play through and was rather surprised to spot "Munchkin Cthullu" at MeCon this weekend. I mean Munchkin Cthullu? Is ti suitable for kids? Phaze on the "staring at the raise the dead mini series he won in a raffle on Sunday and persuaded the authors to sign all 4 copies of" ID
